Training / Support Networks

Our Resources

Being a part of the UC Consortium gives you access to our numerous resources. Alongside to having a network of other UC research faculty, you will have access to training programs by experts in various fields. They are designed to be a virtual or hybrid (virtual with some in-person) in a cohort model.

Faculty Directory

Learn about other UC faculty and their research interests. Take advantage of this network to gain mentorship or to collaborate on future research projects together.

Media Engagement Training

This is an opportunity to gain understanding of various types of media (newspaper/digital, radio/TV) and how to grow public recognition and impact (and hopefully funding) of your research.

Policy Engagement Training

This is an opportunity to gain understanding of various types of governmental entities and their impact on our work. You will also learn how to leverage their networks to support your research, inform your research, and to make your research more impactful.

Funder Engagement Training

This is an opportunity to gain understanding of various types of academic funding, private foundations, and donors and their interests to better tailor grant proposals to be mutually beneficial.
